Aulikki Laver and Elizabeth Bloomfield

Two Blue Hens is an exclusive brand highlighting our shared styles, values and passions. We are two Australian artists from NSW and our creative partnership commenced in early 2022. Our friendship however, began many years ago through a shared love of horses, dressage training, and a very special mare called Jedda. Horses will always be a big part of our lives as well as a major theme within our art.

We enjoy working with a variety of mediums and techniques with our collection of originals ranging from paintings, watercolour paintings and drawings to etchings, woodblock prints and screen prints. From these we have created a selection of fine art prints, greeting cards, sculptures and homewares including cushions, bags, wooden boards, coasters, teatowels and doorstops. All the surface designs on our fabric are designed by us and digitally printed in Melbourne. New original pieces are created on an ongoing basis, either for sale as a one off, or to use as a source for our homewares and fabrics.

We are greatly influenced by our country lifestyles, animals and the natural world. We are passionate about creating and designing quality Australian handmade products that are unique and beautiful. We endeavour to make environmentally conscious decisions regarding our processes and materials to minimize our impact on the planet.
